How is the Be Wise ranking worked out?
Each university is scored on four official measures: student experience (30%), continuation (25%), graduate prospects (25%) and earnings five years after graduating, compared with the UK average for the same subjects (20%). Each result is compared with the average for the group, combined using the weights and shown out of 100.
Which universities had the highest student satisfaction in the 2026 National Student Survey?
On student experience alone, the average positive score across the seven survey themes, the highest among providers with at least 250 responses were BPP University (92.9%), Birmingham Newman University (92.0%), University College Birmingham (92.0%), University of St Andrews (90.8%), University of Wales Trinity Saint David (90.7%). Student experience is one of four measures in the Be Wise ranking.
