Most efficient electric cars
Efficiency is the electric equivalent of mpg: the more miles a car goes on each kWh, the less it costs to run and the further it goes on the same battery.

Frequently asked questions
What is the most efficient electric car in the UK?
In our list, the Tesla Model 3 RWD at about 4.6 miles per kWh (EV Database estimate).
What is a good miles per kWh for an EV?
Most new EVs manage 3 to 4.5 miles per kWh in typical driving. Small, aerodynamic cars do best; large SUVs and fast cars do worst. Cold weather and motorway speeds reduce it.
