Buy Now Pay Later regulated by the FCA
Interest-free Buy Now Pay Later provided by a separate lender became regulated. Agreements from this date come with affordability checks, access to the Financial Ombudsman Service and Section 75 protection. Earlier agreements stay unregulated.
Northern Ireland small claims limit rises to £5,000
The maximum value of a claim in the small claims court in Northern Ireland increased from £3,000 to £5,000.
